Cast Dentures
Cast partial dentures (CPD) is a method of teeth replacement that fixes acrylic teeth onto a metal base. It is a more durable solution than partial acrylic dentures and often restores almost all of the functions in the mouth of the patient, along with their smiles.
Since partial cast dentures come with a metal base, with little acrylic, even though they require less thorough cleaning procedures, the cleanliness and hygiene of a denture cannot be overemphasized. It’s best to clean it properly every night and after meals.
CPDs can be worn for more extended periods than the acrylic dentures, but it is always advised for denture wearers of any king, to remove their dentures at night to allow the underlying tissue to rest and heal.
