Composite Build ups
Building a tooth shape in anterior teeth or a tooth restoration in posterior teeth is called a build-up.
While it can be performed with various cement, the most popular is the tooth-colored material called composite.
It resembles the natural tooth’s shades, and we use it to replicate the original anatomy of the tooth.
Composite build-ups look beautiful and, when well done, are challenging to differentiate from the surrounding natural teeth.
Teeth in the esthetic zone like central, lateral incisors, and canines are some of the best candidates for composite build-ups.
