Hair PRP

PRP or Platelet-rich plasma is a very effective treatment to control hair loss.

The patient’s blood is drawn, which is rich in red blood cells and plasma. We process the blood in a centrifuge machine that separates red blood cells and plasma.

We discard the red blood cells and separates the plasma. It consists of white blood cells and platelets injected in the scalp on the roots under local anesthesia.

White blood cells and platelets are rich in growth factors, which enhance roots growth and reduce hair loss.

Total time of procedure:
One session takes 20 to 30 minutes.

What to expect after the procedure:
PRP has zero side effects, and the risk of infection is close to none. There might be slight swelling on the injection sites, which fades away within an hour or so.

Your hair will be a bit sticky due to PRP fluid, and the patient might experience heaviness on the scalp, which doesn’t stay any longer than an hour.

Patients are usually advised not to wash hair for 24 hours after the treatment.

Sessions required:

In most cases, patients require three sessions every 4 to 6 weeks. We advise maintenance sessions every year to have good hair health.
