Complete Dentures

Complete dentures (CD) are full-coverage oral prosthetic devices that replace an entire arch of missing teeth.

It is fabricated out of pink acrylic to mimic the soft tissue it surrounds with white, tooth-colored acrylic or porcelain teeth.

Other than in the rare cases of extreme bone resorption or acrylic allergy, CDs can be used mostly with all sorts of patients.

Indications for getting complete denture therapy:

A full arch of missing teeth

The patient is unfit for dental implants due to health or financial constraints

Intraoral cancer has caused a loss of gross intraoral tissue, the denture in these cases replaces not just the teeth but also the missing oral tissues.
