Fissure Sealants
Fissure Sealant is a plastic coat applied to protect teeth.
Many individuals have fine grooves on their teeth, where food debris can stick, and with time plaque forms and cavities can start developing.
It isn’t easy to clean those grooves most of the time.
Fissure sealants are usually used to close the grooves and pits mostly in children’s teeth to avoid future tooth decay.

Fissure sealants are required when
- You see dark color on your teeth grooves on biting surfaces
